The time is Los Angeles in the 1970s. The beach stretches out before me, music is coming from somewhere, and the surfers are laid-back and cool.
I head to the beach casually wearing just a T-shirt, shorts and flip flops. ROB SHORTS is a brand that evokes the laid-back mood of surfers at that time. The color scheme is reminiscent of deadstock, and the braided shoelaces have a nostalgic feel to them.
Although they aren't really considered board shorts, it might be cool to just wear them as is.
I'm sure I'll always long for the old school.
These shorts were created in 2013 with this idea in mind, and have become a summer staple for Natal Design shorts.
There is also a grey waist string on the inside. If you don't need it, it can be removed so you can use it according to your preferred style.
